The fallout from the daring quantum processor heist continues to ripple through Veridion, as new evidence points to possible involvement by the Resistance. The processors, originally destined for Nexarch Industries, were intercepted during a high-security hovertrain operation.
While most of the cargo remains missing, investigators recovered traces of tampered code linked to Resistance tech. Nexarch’s Chief of Internal Policy Carolyn Smith issued a stern warning: “This reckless theft endangers every citizen in Veridion. We will not rest until those responsible are brought to justice.”
Rumors persist, however, that rival factions within the city’s underworld may also have had a hand in the heist, further complicating the investigation.
